Eucharist

The truth about the Eucharist is that Christ is very real and present! When you know this and truly accept this the act of Communion transcends from the memorial to the mystical!

I motion that the Eucharist is the real presence and that it matters because until you've had a mystical communion you haven't fully engaged with God Christ Jesus!

In 1 Corinthians 10:16, Paul asks, "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?". He uses the term "participation" or "communion" (koinonia) to argue that the Eucharist is a direct connection to the literal Body and Blood of Christ.

He warns that receiving the Eucharist "unworthily" makes one "guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord" (1 Cor 11:27), implying a real presence, as "guilt of blood" often refers to harm against a real person. He instructs believers to examine themselves and "not discern the body" when eating and drinking, lest they bring judgment upon themselves (1 Cor 11:29). Paul even attributes illness and death within the Corinthian community to their failure to recognize Christ's real presence in the Eucharist (1 Cor 11:30).

So if illness and death came from denying the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist it can be safely deduced that the real presence is a saving act.

This also teaches us that the body of Christ is itself mystical and not a regular body!
