(By Minister M. Smith)

During a recent debate I was partaking in, a debate in which as a Christian I expressed my preference of the Koran (specifically Surah Al Baqra) over the Old Testament, a point was made to me by Gnostic scholar and long time personal friend and brother Peter Forster, that it was Ezra who replaced the name of God El (Allah) with YHVH during his reconstruction of the OT. How can we as Christians, people not dependent upon anything other than Jesus Christ believe in the OT literally knowing it is a reconstruction that forges or alters God's name? Was this a new revelation to Ezra or was he taking artistic license? This led me to do some major investigation. The OT itself says that the Patriarchy knew NOT YHVH!

One thing I discovered digging into the dead sea scrolls "In the Dead Sea Scrolls, Elyon and Yahweh are two separate entities. Elyon was the "father" God, and Yahweh was one of the sons of God. Not only that I found research for Jewish scholars stating that YHVH is actually a volcano God! Why does the OT worship a volcano God that the Patriarchy knew NOT and that's never mentioned in the New Testament? Allah is God and He is One with Christ.

Great point about El/Allah! As a Canaanite man, I understand this. Great post.
