N.O.T.

The coming of Christ was not and is not dependent in anyway on the OT or OT prophecies but rather solely upon the will of God.

If the OT was adequate there would be no need for the NT, if it was truth it wouldn't have needed to be corrected or perfected by Christ! Even looking for Christ in the OT is in vain as it is intentionally veiled, do you look to broken tools to fix something ? So why use the OT with the NT. The only OT we need are those the Epistles use and even then we need rely only on that proper interpretation given by Paul..

But the NT is itself imperfect so there's the correlation with the OT and NT. The Epistles reveal God's will by the Holy Spirit, the rest is merely commentary.

As evidence, not only does the OT say it was written by Ezra but also look at the dead dea scrolls and how they differ greatly from the OT because the OT we have is not as ancient and reliable as we think.

If the OT was adequate there would be no need for the NT, thus Paul's letters stand on their own. OT references are good but are not a necessity. The things in the OT may have predicted Christ but Christ's coming was never dependent on that.

No man is ever justified by the law. We are rather justified by Christ. Paul's speaking of the OT in relation to Christ was his way of reaching to Jews the gospel, just as he reached out to pagans, Christ's coming was never dependent on paganism and it wasn't dependent on Judaism.
