The True Testament

When i was a kid i used to love flipping through the old testament, i always loved Joshua, and it bothered me that church discouraged it. Now that i understand that the old testament is not reliable i get the resistance, however it is for different reasons. The church just didn't want me to be confused yet they are the ones who still cling to the OT whereas I've moved on.

Just ask esther and ezra.

If the old testament is truly the Word of God why is it full of fraud? To be sure lets look at the book of Esther, completely historically inaccurate to the degree that it is concocted fable, and even more it does not even mention God!

But what about the Torah? The heart of the OT? Well it wasn't written by Moses but by Ezra who collected folklore from his people while in Babylon. Sure the Torah can be called historical folklore since it isn't intentionally deceptive and has historical value but to claim it is the Word of God by Divine revelation is not true.

To be fair there are kernels of truth among the myths, those that are verified in the New Testament, however not all of the NT is reliable either! That's right, from the gospels to revelation therein lies a false gospel of works which contradicts the oldest texts of the NT written by the Apostle Paul who teaches us salvation by faith! Not only that, many of these works not written by Paul and some claimed to be are actually written by unknown sources much later than Paul, and its not merely that the source is unknown but when it is falsely attributed to Paul or Matthew etc.

The good news is that we do have the True Testament of God Jesus given to us by The Apostle Paul via the Holy Spirit!
