The Bible is not the Word of God but rather the Word about God. Jesus Christ is the Word of God! (Colossians 1:25)

Also Paul's letters are the Commandments of God.

In I Corinthians 14:37 our Apostle Paul tells us that what he writes are: "the commandments of the Lord.”

Paul tells us that his words are commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ – except when he is speaking for himself by permission i.e. 1 Cor 7:6.

Nowhere else in the New Testament is this claim made. Which is why we must hold fast to Paul's authentic letters and dispose of anything that is contradictory because it's the Word of God!

The Bible itself does not claim to be inerrant, except for Paul's distinction as the commandments of God.

Perhaps the closest the rest of the Bible comes to claiming to be without error is in a New Testament letter known as 2 Timothy 3:16 which is claimed to be by Paul yet we know it isn't.
