Why this truth matters

I have been getting a lot of heat from brothers who are still stuck in the 5th century and reluctant to accept modern scholarship regarding ancient/early Christianity. This is academics. Truth matters. The reason it matters is because from a Christian academic pov books like Acts and the later books get Paul's theology wrong especially his view about Christ.

Keep the faith that Paul had and you will never fail as a Christian. But if you're not armed with the facts good and bad you cannot properly defend Christianity. If you falter into legalism you will also fail.

Keep the faith.

P.s. even the earliest gospel Mark was written 20 some years after galatians. So let me ask you what is likely to be more accurate something written closer to the source by an actual source (Paul) or something written by word of mouth 20 to 40 years later with unknown sources? Just logic bro.

Even James which can maybe be argued as being as early as Paul's writings (disputed) clearly is contrary to the Gospel.
